Hopefully you’ve been thinking about 2010 and your writing plans.
If you haven’t, there’s still time in 2009 to give it some thought.
Call it a resolution — call it a plan, but it’s important to look at next year and decide what you’ll make happen with your writing.

I could come up with a list of how much money I want to make writing in 2010, what kinds of articles I’d like to get back to selling, or other writing plans, but I like keeping my big plans simple.
I have two writing goals for 2010:
- Finish my third novel by February or March.
- Have an agent by October 1.
That’s it!

I’d love to hear your writing plans for 2010 — what are they?
If you don’t share them here, share them with friends or family. When you tell people what you’re going to do, it’s much harder to back out.
Good luck in 2010!

Sometimes I think the simplest plans are the best — your goals can stay the same, but the plan can be changed around a bit. I know your #1 and #2 are related, and I’m SO excited for that! I don’t write, but I’m always game to help you out with figuring things out, setting goals, giving you time to write and work on the blog, etc… and you always have my support, love, and feedback. 🙂 I guess those are my “writing” goals for 2010:
1. Be supportive and enthusiastic.
2. Give feedback and help with any research.
I could go into more detail, but it really says enough I think!
Good luck to you, and to everyone else out there!

Thanks so much, Cynthia 🙂
I always love your feedback, and any help researching and helping me stay focused and organized would be great!
2010 will be a great year.
I hope this blog helps some other writers see some of their goals happen next year.

Well, as we’ve talked about before, I think helping you will help me out with some of my goals as well. Even if it didn’t, of course I want to see you succeed and if helping you out with some stuff gives you a little more time to focus on writing, well there ya go!
I’m sure this blog will help others — it might help give them some ideas or at least help them to not feel overwhelmed when some things get in the way of their writing time or goals.
